🐾 Wildfire Clan 🐾

This is the backstory of the clan past. It explains why the clan is now named what it is.

It was a cold dry night in the season of Leaf-Bare, the clan still weakened from a sickness that had spread through it, many losses had been gained from that alone, Even the meddie had gotten sick, those who survived the sickness were subject to a terrible fate, a twoleg had carelessly tossed aside something that had been lit aflame. Due to the lack of moisture in the air, as well as snow had yet to fall, the grounds were terribly dry. Soon a small flame had turned into a massive brush fire, almost to the point of the whole forest catching aflame. 

The flames soon spread throughout the camp, trees came crashing down and the air filled with smoke, the leader at the time was that of StormStar, she'd lost her kits to the sickness, SmokeyMist was the deputy and also the first one to catch wind of the smoke quickly filling the air. Bounding from her patrol with the few warriors that were left from the previous sickness and battles, she alerted StormStar whom hopped up quickly only to stumble, once she gained her balance she leapt from the Highlog and darted over to the nursery, gathering what kits she could before running to the safety of the river that had been not too far away, sitting the kits down she soon collapsed, still weak from the sickness and all the smoke that had been breathed in.

GryphonClaw had been on patrol with her as well as Excruciating, they all saw no sign of StormStar anywhere, Excruciating had bounded off to find the leader as well as the kits, whom had been removed from the nursery. Only to find all of them laying there by the river, Dead; GryphonClaw had gone to find the medicine cat, only to see her trapped underneath a fallen tree that had also been set aflame, With no medicine cat there could be nobody to treat the wounded, most of the clan had been lost and soon after they had gotten to safety it had started to rain, putting out the fire that had spread throughout the camp as well as part of the forest.
